About The Producer
Vignerons de Florensac work in one of the Mediterranean coast's longstanding winegrowing areas, near the Étang de Thau in the Languedoc. This is especially good country for white grapes: clay-limestone soils, elevated sites and sea breezes bring freshness to an otherwise sunny climate. The growers make wines that show the region's bright, saline side rather than sheer ripeness.
Winemaking Information
An equal blend of Piquepoul and Terret from vineyards around the Étang de Thau, harvested at night to protect freshness. Destemmed fruit receives a brief cool maceration before gentle pneumatic pressing; the must is chilled and clarified ahead of a cool fermentation. Stainless-steel handling preserves the citrus-led profile. No oak ageing.
