About The Producer
Cesconi is a family-run winery based in Pressano in Trentino, north Italy. The family has cultivated vines in the region for generations, and now champions expressive mountain wines, including the local Nosiola grape. Their vineyards around Pressano rise to roughly 500 metres, where limestone and sandstone help give the wines precision and a mineral edge.
Winemaking Information
100% Nosiola from the Pressano hills around 500m above sea level, with soils derived from compact sandstone and limestone. Part of the destemmed fruit receives four to five days' skin maceration in stainless steel. Fermentation continues in large acacia barrels, where the wine ages for approximately nine months on lees with periodic bâtonnage. The winery confirms 12% ABV for the 2024 release.
