Light, crisp and wonderfully refreshing, this is effortlessly easy. Delicate notes of green apple, pear and lemon zest mingle with white blossom, fresh herbs and a gentle stony minerality. There’s a subtle savoury edge too, lending a pleasing bitterness that makes this brilliantly food friendly.

It's a brilliant aperitif, fantastic with seafood, tuna salad or asparagus. A great alternative to Pinot Gris if you're looking to discover something a little different.
About The Producer
Domaine Charles Frey has been farming in Alsace since the early 18th century and is recognised as one of the region's pioneers of organic and biodynamic viticulture. Based in Dambach-la-Ville, the family has been certified organic since 1997 and biodynamic since 2001, believing that healthy soils are the key to expressive wines. Today, the estate is run by Dominique Frey and his family, producing beautifully pure wines that capture the freshness, precision and individuality of Alsace's diverse terroirs.
Winemaking Information
The grapes are grown in organically and biodynamically farmed vineyards around Dambach-la-Ville in the heart of Alsace. Hand-harvested fruit is gently pressed before fermenting with indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, preserving Sylvaner's naturally delicate aromatics and vibrant freshness. The wine then spends several months on its fine lees, adding a subtle texture while allowing the bright fruit and mineral character to remain the focus.
