About The Producer
Finca Flichman is one of Argentina's historic estates, founded in 1910 by Sami Flichman after his arrival from Poland. Based in Barrancas, Mendoza, the family helped pioneer premium Argentinian wines, notably with the influential Caballero de la Cepa in the 1940s. Today winemaking is led by Rogelio Rabino, with contributions from Alberto Antonini and soil specialist Pedro Parra. The Dedicado range draws on carefully mapped vineyards including Tupungato, where high altitude and striking daily temperature differences help produce precise, structured wines.
Winemaking Information
The 2023 Dedicado Chardonnay comes from Tupungato vineyards around 1,300 metres in the Uco Valley. Hand-harvested fruit fermented for 20 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel at 15°C; malolactic fermentation was prevented to retain freshness. The wine matured for 12 months, with 35% in new French oak. The published 2023 specification confirms 13.5% ABV and 1.8 g/L residual sugar.
