About The Producer
Les Esthètes du Vin is a Loire-focused range celebrating the region's expressive, food-friendly varieties and the value of careful, thoughtful winemaking. The Loire is a patchwork of distinctive soils and climates, from cool Atlantic-influenced sites to inland slopes of schist, limestone and clay. Chenin Blanc offers orchard fruit, texture and characteristic freshness, while Cabernet Franc brings fragrant red berries, herbs and supple, savoury structure. The wines aim for immediate pleasure without losing the individuality of their grapes, and are particularly versatile at the table. Detailed information identifying a single estate behind these particular vintages has not been reliably established, so the wines are presented as a Loire range rather than attributed to an unverified producer.
Winemaking Information
100% Chenin Blanc from approximately 35-year-old vines on clay over grey and blue schist. Grapes are pressed directly and the juice is clarified with two successive settling stages, then slowly fermented at around 15°C to protect delicate fruit aromatics. Seven months on lees develops body and depth without sacrificing freshness. The wine is presented as Vin de France, with fresh orchard fruit and citrus notes. A reliable 2023 ABV has not been independently located.
