About The Producer
Massaya is one of the estates that helped revive Lebanon's modern wine industry. Brothers Sami and Ramzi Ghosn returned to their family's Tanaïl estate in the Bekaa Valley after the civil war and began rebuilding vineyards in the early 1990s. They went on to work with the Brunier family of Château Vieux Télégraphe and the Hébrard family of Bordeaux, combining local knowledge with international experience. The estate's wines capture the combination of abundant sunshine, high altitude and fresh mountain air that makes Lebanese wine so distinctive.
Winemaking Information
Made from 100% Cinsault grown in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley, where altitude helps preserve natural acidity. The wine is produced in a fresh, dry rosé style, with gentle extraction for delicate colour and clean red-fruit character. A detailed, vintage-specific fermentation and ageing specification was not available to confirm further cellar methods.
