About The Producer
Rolly Gassmann is one of Alsace's distinctive family estates, rooted in Rorschwihr and the surrounding villages. The Rolly and Gassmann families' winemaking histories stretch back centuries, and the estate is particularly respected for wines that express individual vineyard soils and retain impressive ageing potential. Pierre Gassmann leads the estate, with biodynamic vineyard practices playing an important role.
Winemaking Information
The grapes come from vineyards around Rorschwihr and neighbouring Alsace villages. The wine is made without noticeable oak influence, preserving Pinot Gris's natural richness and aromatic character.
