Why You'll Love It
A proper bottle of Champagne with freshness, finesse and enough savoury complexity to reward attention. Crisp citrus and orchard fruit meet brioche and a fine, creamy mousse after extended time on lees. Excellent as an aperitif, but even better alongside mushroom dishes, sushi or salty canapés.
About The Producer
Champagne Pierre Mignon is a family-run house based in Le Breuil in the Marne Valley. Its vineyards extend across the Marne Valley, Côte des Blancs and Épernay area, bringing together the three classic Champagne varieties. Hand harvesting, careful blending and extended cellar ageing underpin a house style that is fresh and lively, but with proper depth and polish.
Winemaking Information
A traditional-method Champagne blended from approximately 80% Meunier, 10% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir, with grapes harvested by hand. After the first fermentation and blending, the wine undergoes its second fermentation in bottle and ages for approximately 36 months before release. Reported dosage is around 8 g/L. No oak ageing is indicated.
