About The Producer
Ca’Marcanda is the Gaja family’s estate near Bolgheri on the Tuscan coast, established after Angelo Gaja bought the property in 1996. The vineyards sit on varied loam, clay and limestone-influenced soils, and the estate focuses on balanced blends of local and international varieties.
Winemaking Information
Promis 2023 is a Toscana IGT blend of Merlot, Syrah and Sangiovese from the Bolgheri and Bibbona area of coastal Tuscany. The varieties are vinified separately, matured for approximately 12 months in oak and blended before additional bottle maturation.
