About The Producer
Pedro Parra is a Chilean soil and terroir specialist whose work mapping vineyard geology has influenced growers across the world. His own wines focus on dry-farmed old vines in the Itata Valley, especially Cinsault rooted in the granite soils around Guarilihue. Hub is one of his small, site-focused expressions.
Winemaking Information
100% Cinsault from dry-farmed vines more than 80 years old on poor, iron-rich granitic soils in Guarilihue, Itata Valley. Available technical details describe the Hub cuvée as hand-harvested, cold-macerated and fermented with whole bunches and native yeasts in concrete, with gentle extraction, a longer post-fermentation maceration and no oak maturation. These detailed cellar methods are from a 2021 technical sheet rather than a confirmed 2023-specific sheet. A September 2026 trade listing records 13.5% ABV for the 2023 Hub.
