About The Producer
Founded by Paul Hobbs in 1999, Viña Cobos helped establish Argentina's Malbec as a world-class fine wine. Working with high-altitude vineyards in Mendoza, particularly Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley, the estate combines meticulous farming with sensitive winemaking. Vinculum expresses the precision and depth of its terroir-led approach.
Winemaking Information
Sourced from high-altitude vineyards in Mendoza's Uco Valley. Following traditional red-wine fermentation, the Malbec matures for 18 months in French oak barrels, 30% new and 70% second-use, adding structure and spice without losing the fruit's energy.
