Serious and satisfying Saint-Estèphe. Firm, savoury, and quietly confident. Blackcurrant and graphite mingle with notes of earth and spice, framed by muscular but polished tannins. It’s got the structure to age beautifully, but already shows a lovely sense of balance. A proper Sunday roast claret - hearty food, good friends, and time to linger over the last glass.

Château de Pez, owned by Champagne Louis Roederer, is one of the oldest estates in the Médoc, with roots back to the 15th century. Their modern approach brings polish to the appellation’s trademark power, resulting in wines of depth, energy, and real finesse.
