This could well be the perfect Champagne alternative. Bright and fresh, with a nice buttery, brioche-y feel as the wine warms up in the glass. Luscious notes of flowers and citrus come through on the nose, and the palate is nicely soft and creamy. This Crémant is perfect as a posh aperitif, but equally great with scallops or fatty white fish.
