Flint Vineyard are the pioneers of English Charmat method sparkling wine. The second fermentation happens in tank rather than bottle, creating wonderfully fresh fruit and a softer, more playful palate than traditional method sparkling.

This wine has so much attitude it's untrue. At once soft and fruity with juicy strawberry, ripe cherry and summer berry flavours, then a palate so fresh it positively crackles with electrical energy as it fizzes across the tongue.

About The Producer
Founded in 2016 by winemaker Ben Witchell, Flint Vineyard is one of the most exciting names in English wine. Located in the Waveney Valley on the Norfolk-Suffolk border, the estate benefits from East Anglia's dry climate and abundant sunshine, producing wines of exceptional freshness and precision.

Drawing on experience gained in both England and France, Witchell has built a reputation for combining innovation with meticulous attention to detail. Flint is particularly renowned for its vibrant Bacchus, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir Précoce, as well as its pioneering Charmat-method sparkling wines. With a strong focus on sustainability and experimentation, Flint Vineyard continues to push the boundaries of modern English winemaking while remaining firmly rooted in its East Anglian home.
Winemaking Information
An eclectic mix of vinifera (52%) and PIWI varieties (48%), utilising a range of pressing techniques suited to each variety and vineyard. Fermentation was cool and clean in stainless steel, using aromatic yeast strains.

Blending is intrinsic to Charmat Rosé, with each variety contributing character, and a small proportion (5%) reserve wines adding depth.

Finally, a second fermentation in Charmat tanks creates the soft, natural fizz and signature Flint vibrancy.
