Seductive, sassy, sexy, sultry; Syrah. With a little Grenache for roundness, but Syrah leads the attack here. Violets, cherries, blackcurrants and black pepper. This is nicely floral and fresh and then a full, deeply fruity palate takes charge. Pop it in the fridge for 20 minutes and you've got yourself a wildly delicious, unctuous red wine.
Dauvergne Ranvier is the association of two enthusiasts who decided to create their own cuvées. François Dauvergne and Jean-François Ranvier founded their Winery in 2004 in the Rhône Valley. Very present upstream, both in the vineyards and during vinification, they rely on solid and privileged relationships with a number of winegrowers.
The range extends from Côte-Rôtie in the north to the Luberon in the south, including Gigondas, Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Costières de Nîmes.
In 2013, they took over the operation of Domaine des Muretins in the Tavel and Lirac appellations. Since 2020, they have been based at L’Assemblère, a positive energy cellar that was built in Tavel.
