A crisp, fresh and vibrant alcohol free sparkling Riesling. Finding any an alcohol free sparkling wine, or any alcohol free wine for that matter, that satisfyingly tastes like wine is hard. But legendary Riesling producer, Dr Loosen, has triumphed! Tasted blind it would be hard to tell if this was alcohol free or had a typically Mosel Valley-like sub-10% abv level.

On the palate its fresh and vibrant, with flavours that are classically Riesling. Citrus and tropical fruit notes with subtle touches of petrol and exotic spice held together by really characteristic crisp acidity.
About The Producer
Few names carry as much weight in the world of Riesling as Dr. Loosen. The Loosen family has been making wine in Germany's Mosel Valley for more than 200 years, with Ernst Loosen taking the reins of the estate in 1988 and helping re-establish German Riesling as one of the world's great wine styles. Rather than treating alcohol-free wine as an afterthought, Ernst approached Dr. Lo with the same philosophy as his estate wines: if it's going to carry the Loosen name, it has to taste unmistakably of Riesling. The result is one of the most convincing premium alcohol-free wines on the market, made by people who know Riesling better than almost anyone.
Winemaking Information
Unlike many alcohol-free wines, Dr. Lo starts life as a proper Mosel Riesling. The grapes are harvested with naturally high acidity before undergoing a partial fermentation in stainless steel. The alcohol is then gently removed using modern vacuum distillation at low temperatures, helping to preserve the wine's delicate aromas and freshness. Fine bubbles are added to create a lively sparkling wine that remains unmistakably Riesling in character. No fruit juice or additional sugar is added after dealcoholisation.
