Why You'll Love It
Brilliant dry Riesling with an extra bit of oomph, thanks to the warm weather in the Pfalz region of Germany. Fun and fruity - think of peach, apricot and lime with a nice citrusy zest that keeps everything crisp and refreshing. Riesling is naturally a brilliant food wine - this is equally at home with Thai green curry, roasted pork belly or even fish and chips. And the name? Perhaps this wine is an aphrodisiac?! If the first bottle doesn't work, try another...
About The Producer
This family business is into its fifth generation, after brothers Alexander and Martin took over from their father Norbert in 2011. The brothers set out on a radical, even controversial path to show German wines in a new and irreverent light. Their names and provocative labels of course captured people’s attention and have featured pit-side at the German Grand Prix. But behind the anecdotes and jokes are brilliantly made wines
from the rolling hills of the Pfalz and their vineyards in and around Landau-Nussdorf.

Winemaking Information
The fruit comes from limestone-rich vineyards around Landau-Nußdorf in Germany's Pfalz region. Around two-thirds of the wine is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel to preserve Riesling's vibrant fruit and freshness, while the remaining third is fermented in large traditional oak casks. The oak doesn't add obvious flavour, but brings extra texture and complexity, resulting in a Riesling that's both refreshing and surprisingly layered.
