Why You'll Love It
Soft, juicy and packed with black cherry, damson and blackberry fruit. The Merlot brings plenty of generosity while Cabernet Sauvignon adds just enough structure and savoury freshness to keep everything balanced. No oak, no heavy tannins and no need to overthink it.

A brilliant table wine for midweek pizza, pasta and barbecue.
About The Producer
Dea del Mare is part of The Wine People, a modern Italian wine company founded by Stefano Girelli. Rather than owning a single estate, they work with growers across Italy to source the best fruit for each wine, creating approachable, regional wines that consistently overdeliver for the price. Sustainability is central to the project, with vegan-friendly winemaking, lightweight bottles and environmentally conscious production. The Dea del Mare range captures the relaxed spirit of the Italian coastline—honest, uncomplicated wines made to be enjoyed with food, friends and sunshine.
Winemaking Information
The grapes are harvested from sustainably managed vineyards in Sicily before being gently destemmed and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine remains on its skins for around three weeks to extract colour and soft tannins before being bottled without any oak ageing. The focus is on preserving bright fruit, freshness and easy drinkability, creating a modern Italian red that's all about purity rather than power.
