Why You'll Love It
Lip-smacking, nostril invading, fizzy fun. Lemoss is made from Glera, the Prosecco grape variety from Veneto, but using the old-fashioned col fondo method. Bone dry, cloudy and natural but remarkably crisp and clean. If you're looking to explore the world of pet-nat/natural wine, this is a brilliant place to start. Flavours of apple and pink grapefruit dance with subtle hints of brioche and lemon curd. Summery, fresh and eminently gluggable. A (certain) crowd pleaser.
About The Producer
This independent family-owned winery in Piave, Treviso has been going since 1931. They own all their vineyards and don’t buy in any grapes or wines, allowing them to maintain high standards every step of the way.
Very much into traditions and quality, they use a lot of native varieties and a very old Veneto trellising style – the Bellusera system, that gives their vines a quite unique diamond-shaped pattern.

Winemaking Information
Lemoss is Ca' di Rajo's take on the traditional col fondo style that existed long before modern Prosecco. Made from organically grown Glera, the wine undergoes a second fermentation in bottle using native yeasts. It is neither filtered nor disgorged, meaning the natural yeast sediment remains in the bottle, creating its characteristic cloudy appearance and adding texture and complexity. With zero dosage (no added sugar), the result is a bone-dry, lightly sparkling wine that's wonderfully authentic and packed with personality.
