Why You'll Love It
Fresh and elegant but with a little more texture than the lightest Provence rosés. White peach, pear and delicate red fruit lead into a rounded palate, lifted by a crisp, mineral finish. A great choice for seafood, summer lunches or simply when you want a really well-made rosé.
About The Producer
Set just north of Aix-en-Provence, Château La Coste is a Provence estate with a winemaking history dating back to Roman times. Its 200-hectare landscape combines vineyards, olive groves and woodland, with a strong commitment to farming and biodiversity. The vineyards have been fully organic since 2013 and Demeter-certified biodynamic since the 2022 harvest. Today, the estate is as well known for its contemporary art and architecture as it is for its wines.
Winemaking Information
Château Rosé 2025 is an organic Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence rosé made from Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cinsault. Selected parcels are harvested approximately 50% by hand and 50% mechanically. Grapes are directly pressed, partly as whole bunches, before cold settling and low-temperature fermentation. Blending and maturation take place in stainless steel on fine lees. Made from Demeter-certified biodynamically grown grapes. Serve at approximately 11°C.
