An organic blend of Cataratto, Grillo and Fiano with a very little touch of skin contact and time spent is big Slovenian oak. Flavours of lemon curd, apricot, dried mango and coconut give the impression of richness, but the palate is soft and nuanced with spice and citrus. Everything is in harmony here: texture, freshness and character all define this intense, intriguing, delicious wine. Drinking this makes me feel like I am basking in the mid afternoon sun in a European square with no plans but a bowl of pasta alla norma and sharing this bottle.
