This is benchmark Burgundy. Simply a really good bottle of Chardonnay with fresh apple, fleshy pear and zingy citrus fruits. The palate is fleshy, creamy and a subtly nutty from some time in bottle.

Domaine Romy is a family-run estate based in the heart of southern Burgundy. For generations, the family has farmed vineyards across the region, focusing on producing wines that reflect both variety and terroir. Their approach combines traditional Burgundian know-how with sustainable vineyard practices and careful, low-intervention winemaking. While the estate is perhaps best known locally for its Beaujolais and Mâconnais wines, their Chardonnay bottlings consistently deliver excellent value and a genuine expression of Burgundy's renowned limestone-rich soils.
