Val do Galir was founded in 2002 by the Prada Gayoso family in Galicia's Valdeorras region, an area increasingly recognised for producing some of Spain's most exciting wines. While the estate is particularly renowned for its Godello, the team also works extensively with Mencía from carefully selected hillside vineyards.
