Compared to its neighbour Puligny, Chassagne often offers a little more generosity on the palate, and this is a beautiful example. Expect ripe peach and apricot, lemon curd and baked apple alongside toasted hazelnuts, sweet pastry and a whisper of flint. Creamy and weighty, with a deep mineral core. This is liquid luxury.

Pair it with roast chicken, lobster, turbot, creamy mushroom dishes or a perfectly aged Comté.
About The Producer
Domaine Moingeon André et Fils is a family estate based in the village of Saint-Aubin, where generations of the Moingeon family have quietly crafted some of the Côte de Beaune's finest-value wines. Farming around 10 hectares across Saint-Aubin, Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet, the domaine focuses on traditional Burgundian winemaking with minimal intervention, allowing each vineyard to express its own identity. Their Premier Cru wines have developed a loyal following for delivering genuine Côte de Beaune pedigree without the eye-watering prices often associated with their more famous neighbours.
Winemaking Information
The fruit is sourced from village-level parcels in Chassagne-Montrachet, where limestone-rich soils and an ideal south-eastern exposure create wines of remarkable balance and longevity. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand before fermenting with indigenous yeasts in French oak barrels. The wine is then matured on its fine lees in barrel, developing extra texture and complexity while preserving the freshness and mineral precision that define great Chassagne-Montrachet. The oak is beautifully integrated, supporting rather than dominating the fruit.
