Cartuxa FEO 'Geno' Branco 2023

When on the lookout for wines of cracking value, it's rare to stumble upon a gem like this one. Geno is racy, vibrant and fun. Packed full of white peach, grapefruit and intense lime on the nose, with much of the same on the palate and a surprisingly creaminess. This is sunshine in a glass. Not complex, simply delicious.

Cartuxa's wines are crafted in the Alentejo district of Évora, where their renown has been long-standing in Portugal. The Quinta de Valbom estate in Évora, where the winemaking has been ongoing since 1517, was originally established by the Jesuits. Geno is a brand produced by the acclaimed Fundação Eugénio de Almeida, who are located in the Évora sub-region of the Alentejo. One of the most dynamic wine regions in Portugal, it is known for great value, easy-drinking wines with rich fruit and good acidity. The 'Geno' wines are named after a young farmer and are designed to be vibrant and quaffable.
