Weingut R&A Pfaffl 'The Dot Austrian Cherry' Zweigelt 2024

This is like the bastard love child of Pinot Noir & Syrah. Two of my (and any self respecting winos) favourite varieties. Loaded with juicy cherry (obviously) with raspberry and blueberry playing second fiddle. Violets, white pepper and thyme linger nicely in the background. This is a soft, lighter wine, but there is surprising power and juiciness, making the wine feel friendly and warm. Unctuous, gluggable and terrifically moreish.

'The Dot' wines are from famous producer, Weingut R&A Pfaffl. The purpose of the range is to offer a dynamic, fruit forward selection of wines which are labelled after their dominant fruit character.
