Why You'll Love It
Soft, charming and seductively sweet. Characteristic and intense nose of peach, sweet melon, orange blossom, and apricot. On the palate, the sweetness and floral flavours are balanced by low alcohol and refreshing acidity - never too high - giving an amazingly fresh drinkability.

I can't think of a better way to end a meal. Or indeed, a Tuesday.
About The Producer
Agricola Marrone has been family-owned for more than 130 years and is now run by the fourth generation in the heart of Piedmont. Although best known for their acclaimed Barolo wines, the family applies the same meticulous attention to every bottle they produce. Their Moscato d'Asti comes from historic vineyards planted in the 1960s and perfectly captures the elegance this famous DOCG is capable of. Rather than producing something overly sweet, Marrone focuses on balance, freshness and purity, creating one of Italy's most joyful dessert wines.
Winemaking Information
The fruit comes from south-east facing hillside vineyards around La Morra, planted on limestone-rich soils with quartz sand that naturally enhance perfume and freshness. The grapes are hand-harvested before spending a short period in cold storage and four hours on their skins to maximise aromatic intensity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at low temperatures and is deliberately stopped once the wine reaches around 5% alcohol, preserving its natural sweetness, gentle sparkle and vibrant fruit.
