Made only in the very best vintages and aged for years before release, this is one of Tuscany's great indulgences. Rich aromas of dried apricot, honey, toasted almonds and candied orange leap from the glass, while the palate is wonderfully silky, with flavours of caramel, figs and tropical fruit balanced by a vibrant line of acidity. Sweet, but never cloying.

Traditionally served with cantucci biscuits for dunking, it's equally at home alongside blue cheese, crème brûlée, fruit tarts or simply enjoyed on its own at the end of a memorable meal.
About The Producer
Fèlsina is one of Chianti Classico's great estates. Since the Poggiali family purchased the property in 1966, it has earned an international reputation for producing some of Tuscany's finest Sangiovese. Based in Castelnuovo Berardenga, the southernmost corner of Chianti Classico, the estate combines meticulous vineyard work with a deep respect for tradition. While its reds are rightly celebrated, Fèlsina's Vin Santo is something of a hidden gem, made in tiny quantities using one of Tuscany's oldest and most labour-intensive winemaking traditions. Patiently aged over many years, it's a wonderful reminder that some of Italy's greatest wines are still made exactly as they have been for generations.
Winemaking Information
Vin Santo is one of Tuscany's most treasured wine styles, made by drying bunches of freshly harvested grapes for several months to concentrate their sugars and flavours before pressing. At Fèlsina, the dried grapes are slowly fermented before ageing for around seven years in small oak barrels known as caratelli. During this time the wine develops its unmistakable amber colour, silky texture and layers of dried fruit, toasted nuts and honey, while retaining enough acidity to keep everything beautifully balanced.
