About The Producer
Babalù draws on Sicily's warm days, cool hilltop nights and steady coastal breezes to make bright, generous everyday wines. Vineyards at roughly 200–300 metres above sea level help preserve natural acidity, while relatively early picking keeps the fruit fresh and lively.
Winemaking Information
The published specification for Babalù Rosso lists 85% Nero d'Avola and 15% Syrah, sourced from Sicilian vineyards around 200–300 metres above sea level. Grapes are harvested in the cool of the morning, pressed gently, cold-macerated and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel. No oak ageing is used.
