Why You'll Love It
Old-vine Carignan packed with ripe southern French fruit but without heavy tannins. Blackberry, cherry and a little vanilla make it an especially satisfying red for burgers and grilled vegetables.
About The Producer
Coquille de Terre draws on old Carignan vines in the Languedoc, with fruit selected by winemaker Marilyn Lasserre. After studying wine in Bordeaux and working internationally, she returned to France in 2008 and helped bring renewed attention to the quality and freshness of the region's traditional varieties.
Winemaking Information
