About The Producer
Dea del Mare is part of The Wine People, a modern Italian wine company founded by Stefano Girelli. Rather than owning a single estate, they work with growers across Italy to source the best fruit for each wine, creating approachable, regional wines that consistently overdeliver for the price. Sustainability is central to the project, with vegan-friendly winemaking, lightweight bottles and environmentally conscious production. The Dea del Mare range captures the relaxed spirit of the Italian coastline—honest, uncomplicated wines made to be enjoyed with food, friends and sunshine.
Winemaking Information
The Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay are harvested separately before being gently pressed and fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks. The wine remains on its fine lees for a short period to add a little extra texture, while avoiding any oak influence. The result is a bright, fruit-forward white that captures the freshness of Pinot Grigio alongside the softer, rounder character of Chardonnay.
