Why You'll Love It
A proper everyday Greek white that offers more character than its modest price suggests. Roditis is naturally fresh and lightly herbal, making this a cheerful match for grilled fish, mezze or a big Greek salad.
About The Producer
Kanakaris is a family winery based in Aigialeia in the northern Peloponnese. Working with vineyards that climb from the Gulf of Corinth into the region's cooler hills, the family champions Greek varieties including Roditis, producing clean, expressive wines with a welcome emphasis on drinkability. High-altitude fruit and careful handling help preserve the fresh citrus and herbal character that make its whites so useful at the table.
Winemaking Information
Notos 2024 is made from Roditis grown on the elevated slopes of Aigialeia in the northern Peloponnese. The grapes are fermented in a fresh, unoaked style, with temperature control used to protect their lemony, lightly herbal aromatics. More detailed vintage-specific maceration and maturation figures could not be independently confirmed.
