About The Producer
Viña Indómita is based in Chile's Casablanca Valley, where the cool Pacific influence helps produce precise, expressive Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The winery also works with vineyards in Maipo, Maule and Itata, choosing varieties to suit each region's conditions. Modern facilities and a considered approach to energy, water and local employment are central to the estate's work.
Winemaking Information
100% Pinot Noir grown in Chile's cool Casablanca Valley. Fermented in tank at controlled temperatures to preserve the fruit's aromatic lift. Around 40% of the wine is then aged for five months in 225-litre French oak barrels, approximately 10% of which are new, bringing subtle spice without masking the fruit.
