Chateau La Verrerie Hautes Collines Viognier 2023

This was a bit of a wow moment when we first tried it. Properly elegant Viognier, packed with ripe apricot and peach, lifted by delicate white florals and a touch of citrus to keep things fresh. There’s a lovely, rounded texture here, but it stays poised throughout never heavy, never overblown. A great reminder of just how good this grape can be in the right hands.

Château La Verrerie sits high up in the Luberon, where the altitude brings cooler nights and helps preserve that all-important freshness. The estate has been farming these vineyards for generations, and it shows in the balance and precision of the wines. Southern Rhône sunshine, but with a lighter touch.
