About The Producer
Diamantakis Winery is a family estate in Kato Asites, near Heraklion, Crete. The family farms vines in the foothills of Mount Psiloritis, combining the island's native grapes with carefully chosen international varieties. Petali celebrates Assyrtiko's precise, herb-scented character in this mountainous Mediterranean setting.
Winemaking Information
100% Assyrtiko from Crete. Temperature-controlled white fermentation at approximately 16°C, followed by three months on fine lees. The producer confirms 13.5% ABV for 2025, citrus and local herb aromatics and a mineral finish. Serve at 12–13°C.
