About The Producer
Established in 1880, Domaine Dupraz is now in the hands of sixth-generation brothers Jérémy and Maxime Dupraz. Having reclaimed the family's historic estate from the local co-operative, they farm around 18 hectares of vineyards on the dramatic limestone slopes of Apremont in Savoie. Working organically and with a light touch in the cellar, they produce vibrant, terroir-driven wines that celebrate the region's native grape varieties and unmistakable Alpine character.
Winemaking Information
Made from 100% Jacquère grown on steep, organically farmed vineyards in the foothills of the Chartreuse Massif in Savoie. The grapes are hand-harvested before fermenting with indigenous yeasts in a combination of concrete tanks and old oak. The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered with only a minimal addition of sulphur, preserving the purity and freshness that make Jacquère such a compelling Alpine variety.
