This is a fabulous introduction to very top quality Cava. Brilliantly fresh and dry with delicate citrus and orchard fruits and a nice floral character. All layered with elegant toasty nuances – the result of 12 months spent on lees. A lovely aperitif to transport you mentally to a sun drenched Valencian terrace.
Dominio de Requena was founded by Ana Suria and Vicente García – "the Godfather of Valencian Cava" – in 1981, although its roots can be traced back to the early 19th century. Located in the Las Cabrillas mountains, approximately 60km inland, the estate's south-facing vineyards are planted at high elevations (700m) around the bodega.
