One grape, plenty of personality. Pinot Noir has a knack for getting wine lovers a little carried away. Honestly, it's one of my favourites.
Tonight, lead by Evelyn of team VG, we’ll taste our way through a selection from different corners of the wine world, exploring how the same grape can produce such wonderfully different wines. Expect everything from bright, juicy red berries to silky, savoury styles with a little more depth.
Along the way, we’ll get stuck into how climate, vineyard and winemaking shape what’s in your glass, why Burgundy sets so many hearts racing, and what happens when Pinot puts down roots elsewhere.
Whether you’re already firmly in the Pinot fan club or wondering what all the fuss is about, come along, compare your favourites and get to know this famously fussy grape a little better. Fortunately, drinking it is considerably easier than growing it.
No stuffiness. No wine snobbery. Still very much Vino Gusto.
As always, cheese and charcuterie included.

- No physical ticket required, just bring a copy of your order confirmation (on a phone is fine).
- Please confirm when booking if you have any allergies or dietary requirements. Please note that our cheese & wine tastings cannot be tailored to accommodate strict vegetarian diets due to the nature of our presentation.
- Strictly no under 18's.
- We adore our wonky old building. All we regret is that the staircase to our first floor WC and tasting room is not forgiving and as such rules us out from being accessible. Sorry for the inconvenience it may cause.
- Please note that we kindly ask attendees not to wear strong aftershave or perfume for the event. This sounds like a silly request, but we try and keep our tasting room as a controlled environment so that only the wine fumes invade our nostrils.
