Why You'll Love It
Flint Vineyard are arguably the most innovative producer in the country, and they have spent many vintages refining their Bacchus. Energetic and expressive with flavours of lime, passionfruit and a tickle of spice. The palate is full of fleshy, juicy fruit and bags of fresh acidity. An outstanding alternative for Sauvignon Blanc drinkers, this is a wonderfully refreshing aperitif, or fruity enough to temper a bit of thai spice.
About The Producer
Founded in 2016 by winemaker Ben Witchell, Flint Vineyard is one of the most exciting names in English wine. Located in the Waveney Valley on the Norfolk-Suffolk border, the estate benefits from East Anglia's dry climate and abundant sunshine, producing wines of exceptional freshness and precision.
Drawing on experience gained in both England and France, Witchell has built a reputation for combining innovation with meticulous attention to detail. Flint is particularly renowned for its vibrant Bacchus, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir Précoce, as well as its pioneering Charmat-method sparkling wines. With a strong focus on sustainability and experimentation, Flint Vineyard continues to push the boundaries of modern English winemaking while remaining firmly rooted in its East Anglian home.

Winemaking Information
A blend of Bacchus from multiple vineyard parcels and picking dates, fermented using a combination of small oak barriques, large oak foudres and unlined concrete tanks. A range of pressing techniques and yeast strains were employed to build complexity and character. The wine underwent bi-weekly lees stirring (bâtonnage) and 20% malolactic fermentation, adding texture and balance while preserving freshness and acidity.
