Tiara is all about elegance. Sourced from old vines high in the mountains, it has a freshness that's almost hard to believe comes from one of Europe's hottest wine regions. Think lemon peel, wild herbs (tarragon), crisp orchard fruit and a lovely stony minerality, all wrapped around a gently creamy texture from its time in old oak.

About The Producer
Niepoort is one of Portugal's most iconic family-owned wineries. Founded in 1842 as a Port house, it is now led by fifth-generation winemaker Dirk Niepoort, whose relentless curiosity has helped redefine Portuguese table wine over the past three decades. Rather than chasing power, Dirk champions elegance, freshness and vineyard expression, often drawing inspiration from Burgundy and Germany. Working with old vineyards across the Douro and beyond, Niepoort has become one of the country's most influential producers, creating wines that are thoughtful, distinctive and consistently among Portugal's very best.
Winemaking Information
Tiara comes from high-altitude vineyards (600–800 metres) in Portugal's Douro Valley, where many of the vines are over 60 years old and planted on granite and schist soils. The mixed field blend is harvested by hand before fermenting naturally in large, old oak foudres. The wine undergoes full malolactic fermentation and spends around a year ageing in these large neutral vessels, building texture while preserving remarkable freshness and purity.
