Santa Tresa 'Rina Ianca' Grillo Viognier 2023

A fun, sleek, refreshing white blend that marries the crisp citrus of Sicily's local Grillo variety, with the classy weight and softness of Viognier. Bags of stone fruit here in the way of peaches and apricots with a herbal, tangy, tarragon edge. The palate is wonderfully mineral and deep with a lovely fresh acidity making everything feel balanced and delicious. Rina Ianca means white sand in Sicilian, and indeed a taste transports me to the beach... A lovely pairing with seafood risotto or a spinach and ricotta ravioli. 

Santa Tresa is an organic estate in the south-east of Sicily, near the historic town of Vittoria.
