Winter Warmers // Wednesday 11th November 2026 // VG Tasting Room // 7pm
- Available
- Backordered, shipping soon
Cold nights, hearty dinners and an excellent excuse to open something delicious. Join Henry for an evening exploring wines made for the colder months, from generous, spicy reds to rich, textured whites that deserve a place on your winter table.
We’ll look beyond the obvious big reds to discover what makes a wine feel warming and satisfying. Expect ripe fruit, savoury depth, warming spice and plenty of ideas for pairing your favourites with slow-cooked suppers, Sunday roasts and a generous cheeseboard.
Along the way, Henry will explore how grape variety, climate and oak influence these comforting styles, and why a winter warmer doesn’t always need to be the biggest wine in the room.
Come in from the cold, settle in and find a few new favourites. Woolly jumpers welcome.
No stuffiness. No wine snobbery. Still very much Vino Gusto.
As always, cheese and charcuterie included.

- No physical ticket required, just bring a copy of your order confirmation (on a phone is fine).
- Please confirm when booking if you have any allergies or dietary requirements. Please note that our cheese & wine tastings cannot be tailored to accommodate strict vegetarian diets due to the nature of our presentation.
- Strictly no under 18's.
- We adore our wonky old building. All we regret is that the staircase to our first floor WC and tasting room is not forgiving and as such rules us out from being accessible. Sorry for the inconvenience it may cause.
- Please note that we kindly ask attendees not to wear strong aftershave or perfume for the event. This sounds like a silly request, but we try and keep our tasting room as a controlled environment so that only the wine fumes invade our nostrils.
