Wildly fermented and reassuringly delicious. We love Furmint for it's crisp and restrained minerality. This wine has that in abundance, with the textural interest and structure maturity gifted by the addition of some light skin contact.
Bright and intensely fruit with aromas of citrus, yellow fruits, vanilla and toasted nuts. The palate is complex with notes of apple, quince and a pronounced minerality. Creamy with a little grip, this wine has a brilliantly long finish. Stunning alongside roasted chicken with a creamy, buttery sauce.
The brothers (seen on the label) Aleksander and Patrik, work the 49 year old family vineyard sustainably with great care for nature, and make low intervention terroir driven wines.
